President Sissi speaks




On the occasion of Labor Day, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi witnessed the celebration organized by the General Federation of Egyptian Trade Unions on the occasion of Labor Day, in the presence of Dr. Ali Abdel-Aal, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Eng. Sherif Ismail, Prime Minister and Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar. Ministers, senior officials and members of the Board of Directors of the General Confederation of Trade Unions and heads of public trade unions.
The Minister of Manpower, Mohamed Saffan, and the chairman of the Egyptian General Union of Trade Unions, Mohamed Saafan, delivered a speech on the occasion.

 The ceremony marked the honoring of ten union veterans and the granting of the First Class Labor Medal, as well as the honoring of two former employees of the Ministry of Manpower, by awarding them the privileges.

 The President also gave a speech on the occasion of the Workers' Day, which he initiated by inviting the audience to observe a minute of mourning for the martyrs of Egypt. He also announced the support of the Egyptian Labor Force Emergency Fund of LE 100 million allocated by the Fund of Long Live Egypt. At the end of the speech the President paid special tribute to the Egyptian women for their role and dedication in serving Society and homeland.

 In his speech, al-Sisi said: "I am talking to you on Labor Day, the Eid of every honorable Egyptian who perspires, sweats and makes every effort to rebuild the country and benefit the people. I stand with you in the heart of an Egyptian citizen who appreciates the work of the worker in his factory and in his workplace. Much to praise together the pillars of the future for us and for future generations behind us every year and Egypt is moving with your arms advanced with your sincerity ».

 He added that the State's keenness to commemorate the Workers 'Day annually reflects in its essence its respect and deep appreciation for the workers' contribution in various fields of production and affirms their great role in advancing the process of building and development to contribute to the rise of this great nation.

 On this occasion, we affirm that the Egyptian factor is the true wealth of the country, the axis of development and the starting point for a better future by strengthening the march of our national economy, and as recommended by the teachings of the heavenly religions that work is a worship. I advise you and myself with sincerity and mastery of work. And abundant .. Make sure that your rights are always protected ..

 He continued: «Egypt has suffered during the past years .. Like the majority of the countries of the region .. Of serious challenges .. Of economic dimensions, social and political .. You may know the magnitude of those challenges .. And you know that there is no way out of them to safety only by work And trust that success is an ally of the diligent .. and that the nations are built only with the first efforts determined by their children and the threat of terrorism comes at the head of the challenges we face. Egypt was one of the first countries in the world to warn against it. Its evils .. and the elimination of its causes, whether direct or passive .. etc The great Egyptian army and the brave policemen are fighting a fierce war against the various foci of extremism, especially in the precious land of Sinai. We have suffered together from the scourge of treachery and the pain of loved ones. The Egyptians are held in solidarity. The enemy is surprised before the friend. And to sacrifice for it ..
